Over 900 athletes from New Jersey and beyond competed Saturday in the 31st annual Wyckoff-Franklin Lakes Triathlon, sponsored by volunteers from the Wyckoff YMCA and Wyckoff-Midland Park Rotary and hosted by the Indian Trails Club in Franklin Lakes.

Participants dove into the water at the club shortly before 7 a.m. Saturday morning for a half mile swim, followed by a 17 mile bike race and five mile run. The leading athletes began crossing the finish line around 8:30.

Chris Nocera of Suffern, NY, and Sarah Rodriguez of Ossinging, NY, were the top overall male and female finishers, respectively. In groups, the winning team was the Oelker family: Patrick Ryan and Robin.
