Four Franklin Lakes Teachers Win Bergen County Recognition Honors

A committee of teachers, parents, and administrators from the district chose the 2014 winners.

A committee of teachers, parents, and administrators have chosen four Franklin Lakes teachers as the 2014 winners of the annual Bergen County Teacher/Educational Services Professional Recognition Program.

According to an announcement from the district, this year’s winners are:

  • Janet Henry, Art Teacher, Colonial Road School
  • Michele DePalma, 2nd Grade Teacher, High Mountain Road School
  • Lorraine Preziosi, 4th Grade Teacher, Woodside Avenue School
  • Kathleen DeRosa, Language Arts Teacher, Franklin Avenue Middle School

The four were recognized at a Board of Education meeting Tuesday night, and received a letter from the district, and flowers and a gift card from the PTAs. They will also be acknowledged at a County luncheon along with recipients from other Bergen school districts.
