FLOW Towns Named Among the Nation's Top 'Suburbanite' Locales

Wyckoff, Franklin Lakes and Oakland each ranked in the Top 100 in a survey of the nation's best places to settle down.

Potential homebuyers searching out a place to “settle down, kick up your feet and relax” are being told in a nationwide survery by Coldwell Banker that Wyckoff, Franklin Lakes and Oakland are among the best places in the country to do just that.

All three towns made the Top 100 in the ‘suburbanite’ category of the company’s ‘Best Places to Live’ lists, a series which also included a ‘booming suburbs’ ranking based on economic factors as well as a ‘social seekers’ category based on local entertainment and nightlife.

Nearby, quality education was a factor in the rankings for the three towns, which share a regional high school district. Among the other factors the real estate company took into consideration in compiling the list were a high percentage of home ownership and long-term residents, high levels of public safety, and easy access to amenities.
