Wyckoff Seeks Teen Environmentalists for Commission

2013's volunteers recently wrapped their terms on the board.

Wyckoff is inviting township students with a green thumb or interest in environmentalism to apply to be a part of the Wyckoff Environmental Commission.

Each year, the township asks for volunteers to serve as student members of the Commission.

2013’s volunteers, Olivia Oramas and Jared Zoneraich, are stepping down, and the township announced Tuesday that it is looking for 2014’s volunteers. Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Wyckoff resident (attending any high school)
  • Interested in environmental issues
  • Must attend monthly Wyckoff Township Environmental Commission meetings and activities January through December
  • Meetings are conducted on the third Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in Wyckoff Town Hall

Applicants should email letters of interest to wec@wyckoff-nj.com before January 17. The township released the following guidelines for entrants:
