Jonas Brothers Cancel Tour; Band Breakup May Follow

Say it ain’t so!

The Jonas Brothers, who canceled the entirety of their 19-stop tour this week, may be on the verge of a breakup.

A rep for the brothers Jonas—who have Bergen County roots—told MTV News there’d been a “deep rift within the band” about “their music direction,” but didn’t elaborate further.

Fans with tickets for now-abandoned tour can expect a full refund.

Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas have been conspicuously silent about the acrimony on Twitter, and elsewhere.

The tiff boiled over after discussions about their next record led to creative differences regarding the band’s sound, according to TMZ. Sources for the gossip site speculated that the brothers Jonas all agreed on one thing: “releasing anything new would be a disaster.”

The Jonas Brothers' website simply tells fans that the tour has been canceled and that ticket holders can get refunds at the point of sale.

If the rumors are true, at least diehard JoBro fans can begin fantasizing about a super-huge reunion tour.
