Laura Winberry, Neighbor

Laura grew up (although she claims she's not done yet) with a strong propensity for all things outdoors. Even as a fledgling she could never remain in one place for too long. From her backyard in Oakland she soon spread out into the surrounding neighborhoods and never seemed to stop from there. Now, having traveled nationally and internationally, with her bike and by foot, she remains content in the present, yet eager for the next adventure. This past winter she quit her short-lived editorial job, took a hiatus from her eight years as a snowboard coach and traveled with her bike for a two-month stay in Ecuador's Andes Mountains. Told you she couldn't stay in one spot for too long.
