Rabbi Prouser to Speak at Teaneck Event
The local religious leader will speak about “American Democracy in the Rich Soil of Sinai” on Feb. 2
Rabbi Joseph Prouser, spiritual leader of Temple Emanuel of North Jersey, Franklin Lakes, will explore the nexus between American constitutionalism and Jewish conventional theology when he speaks on “American Democracy in the Rich Soil of Sinai.” Rabbi Prouser will speak at Sweet Tastes of Torah to be held on Saturday, February 2, 6:15 to 10:30 pm at Temple Emeth in Teaneck. Sweet Tastes of Torah, a community night of learning presented by the North Jersey Board of Rabbis, offers a smorgasbord of study, discussion, and fun, with 22 one-hour classes to choose from taught by members of the NJBR.
