Police: Man Tried to Hoodwink Pharmacy Out of Xanax, Adderall
Wyckoff cops say a 23-year-old used fraudulent prescriptions to try to obtain the drugs from a township CVS.
Township cops cuffed a 23-year-old New Yorker who allegedly tried to illegally obtain two often-abused prescription drugs from a local pharmacy, according to the Wyckoff Police Department. Wyckoff Police responded to CVS Pharmacy on Nov. 30 at 2:20 a.m. following a report that a man was attempting to obtain narcotic medication with a fraudulent prescription, cops said last week. Sgt. Jack McEwan, and Patrolmen Kyle Ferreira and Thomas Tully responded to the drug store and stopped Michael Klugmann, 23, in the parking lot. Klugmann, of Suffern, N.Y., had attempted to fill a prescription for Xanax and Adderall pills with a fraudulent prescription, cops said.
