Syracuse Kicker Ross Krautman scored first on the afternoon of Dec. 29 as his team cruised to victory against West Virginia University in the Pinstripe Bowl. Krautman, a Ramapo High School grad who played in his first when he was a freshman, helped 'Cuse wallop WVU in a victory where the Orangemen outscored the Mountaineers in every quarter. The 5-foot-7-inch junior didn't miss a kick on the snowy field at Yankee Stadium on Saturday, hiting 25- and 36-yard field goals and four extra points — for a total 10 points on the day — in the 38-14 victory. Krautman now has 48 career field goals, nine shy of the all-time Syracuse record of 57 and has 250 points on his career — fifth all time in school history. Have a question or news tip for Oakland…
