The Venetian in Garfield was the fashionable place to be Thursday night as Posh Boutique in Montville staged a dress and bikini fashion event hosted by "Real Housewives of NJ" stars Melissa Gorga and Kathy Wakile. The sold-out event included a number of vendors with an array of products from "Sparkle," custom-made shoes to hand-dipped berries. The evening included a dinner and opportunities to rub elbows with business owners, designers, entrepreneurs and reality TV celebrities. Habitat for Humanity in Bergen County hosted its 19th annual Builder of the Year Gala at the Venetian in Garfield.
Dozens of local celebrities showed up for Habitat Bergen's Builder of the Year Gala Tuesday night, supporting the nonprofit agency's mission to provide affordable housing to low-income Bergen County families. Among the attendees who lined the red carpet at the Venetian in Garfield were Real Housewives of New Jersey's Jacqueline Laurita, singer Lori Michaels, notable interior designer Vanessa DeLeon and New York Road Runner 2013 Half Marathon Runner and Habitat Bergen Supporter Brian Lang.

Three cast members accused of beating a man at the grand opening of a Ridgewood business on Saturday have filed counterclaims.
A Ridgewood judge ruled Thursday night that there is enough probable cause to have complaints of assault and terroristic threats issued against three cast members of The Real Housewives of New Jersey following a bloody brawl on Saturday. Ridgewood Municipal Court Judge David Pfund reviewed complaints filed by Johnny Karagiorgis, 38, of Paramus, alleging that cast members Joe Gorga, Chris Laurita and Jacqueline Laurita assaulted him at the grand opening of Posche 2 clothing boutique. By the time the brawl was broken up by security, clothes were trampled, sinks were destroyed and blood stained the walls of 74 East Ridgewood Avenue. The family-owned bakery has been operating locations in both Westwood and Fair Lawn for many years, and recently opened up its third location on Franklin Avenue in the township. Teresa Giudice of Bravo's Real Housewives of New Jersey will make an appearance at Sunrise Cellars in Caldwell Friday for a tasting of her sparkling wine, Fabellini. Giudice will be autographing bottles and cookbooks for fans from 1 to 3 p.m., according to a poster at the store. Fabellini, a pre-mixed bellini which comes in peach and raspberry flavors, is produced by Brotherhood Winery in New York.
