On Dec. 19, Time magazine named President Obama their Person of the Year, again... BORING. Who cares about the same-old, same-old? Here at Wyckoff-Franklin Lakes Patch all we care about is local. The magazine invited votes on 40 candidates, including the president, Gabby Douglas and Kim Jong Un. Other options included Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi, Apple CEO Tim Cook, the Mars Rover and Higgs Boson Particle — neither of whom are even people. Talk about jumping the shark... add that to the fact that they seem to have completely ignored the newsmakers from here in Bergen County.
