Ramapo Indian Hills Dancers Coming Together to Battle Pancreatic Cancer
"Something To Dance For" will feature dancers and choreographers from both Ramapo and Indian Hills high schools and all proceeds will benefit the Lustgarten Foundation.
The Ramapo Indian Hills Dance Group is hosting its first annual dance benefit on Friday, Jan. 18, at 7 p.m.in the Indian Hills High School Auditorium. The dance group is relatively new to the school district, according to Organizer Nancy Hafers. "They began two years ago, when a student petitioned the Board of Education, to allow the dancers to meet and perform," she said. "Their membership has steadily grown during this time, and they performed last year in FLOW Follies." The group is sponsoring its first annual dance benefit, featuring dancers and choreographers from both high schools in a wide genre of dance styes.
