Bowers, Carolan Win Wyckoff BOE Seats
Incumbent Christopher Della Pietra defeated.
Kathy Bowers and John Carolan have earned two contested seats on the Wyckoff K-8 Board of Education, according to unofficial numbers provided by town hall Tuesday night. Kathy Bowers was the top vote-getter with 1,704 votes, followed by John Carolan with 1,658 votes, incumbent Christopher Della Pietra with 895 votes, and Robert Buono taking up the rear with 847 votes. Danielle Swenson, who was running unopposed for a one-year term for the seat that Della Pietra is currently filling, earned 2,702 votes and will join Bowers and Carolan on the board next year.
