HGTV 'Kitchen Cousins' Working on Jersey City Residences
Renovations expected to be completed around Spring of 2014.
FLOW-area cousins, Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri will have a hand in converting a disused three-story Jersey City building that had been that ctiy's police department into 16 residential units and a first-floor market, according to reports. Carrino and Colaneri announced this week that the historic building, which was purchased last year, would be converted from its former utilitarian splendor to a sprawling destination hot spot with with living and recreational components. "This is a historic building and we want people to see and share its historic aspects," Carrino said. "It was embarrassing to see what a building like this turned into.
