After a week of mulling over last week's FLOW Photo Hunt, we're happy to report that a handful of sharp eyed participants zeroed in on the correct location. The tightly cropeed photo was snapped at the Van Allen House in Oakland. Facebook readers Ryan Schwertfeger and Lisa Ciolino Ambrose, as well as Wyckoff-Franklin Lakes Patch reader MER, got this week's puzzle right. MER even gave a little background on the place: "Washington slept there." And, if you belive Wikipedia — and who doesn't — MER ain't lying. In this occasional feature, we put the keenest of our Facebook fans and readers keen eyes to the test: Identify photos of obscure locations or photos cropped to intentionally obscure public locales. Stay tuned for next week's …

Last week we engaged in a little birdplay. The week before that was some casual horseplay. This week the FLOW Photo Hunt — and our dedicated Puzzleheads — are going house hunting. This well-known abode has been around for quite a long time, so don't go scouring the streets of Northwest Bergen County for a McMansion or some shabby chich IHOP. Think local, think wooden teeth, think almost history. We've also expanded the weekly puzzle to include popular locations in Oakland — so think big and look hard. In this occasional feature, we put the keenest of our Facebook fans and readers keen eyes to the test: Identify photos of obscure locations or photos cropped to intentionally obscure public locales. Give it your best shot and let us know …

You got it again! The oddly cropped photo was taken at the Gardens of Wyckoff. Wyckoff-Franklin Lakes Patch readers MER, Sherry Windsong and Leaving all correctly guessed last week's challenge. Leaving even had a word or two for the folks he feels should have cleaned up the Crescent Avenue destination: "...No one has bothered to pick it up! The Township of Wyckoff is supposed to be taking care of these gardens!" Keep your eyes on Wyckoff-Franklin Lakes Patch and Oakland Patch for this week's puzzle, and don't forget: We've also expanded the weekly puzzle to include popular locations in the borough of Oakland. In this occasional feature, we put the keenest of our Facebook fans and readers keen eyes to the test: Identify photos of obscure …

Last week we engaged in a little horseplay. Her we go again, it’s on this week, with our latest edition of “FLOW Photo Hunt.” This long-legged bird statue floats around where it looks like the Swamp Thing might emerge. Try to find the location, but bring your shears for protection! We've also expanded the weekly puzzle to include popular locations in Oakland — so think big! In this occasional feature, we're putting our Facebook fans' and commenters' keen eyes to the test: Identify photos of obscure locations or photos cropped to intentionally obscure public locales. It only took David Sussman a couple of hours to come up with the answer in last week's FLOW Photo Hunt.
