The cast rehashes the drama of last episode.
This week’s “Real Housewives” picked up the drama from the pre-Labor Day-break episode, in which Teresa Giudice and Caroline Manzo had an explosive argument about the events of this and the previous season and featured the long-anticipated (and somewhat anti-climatic) return of Dina Manzo. First, however, the audience was treated to a nostalgic dose of cuteness as Teresa and her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga got their kids off to school. It was Antonia Gorga and Gabriela Giudice’s first day of first grade, Gia Giudice’s first day of fifth grade, and Milania Giudice’s first day of kindergarten. Teresa was worried about “RHoNJ” breakout star Milania’s first day, but not in the traditional sense. “I’m worried about what’s going to come out of …

Joe Gorga: "Old school Italian [parents] don’t go to therapy... They just don’t speak to each other for the rest of their lives.”
Screaming and finger pointing gave way to quiet, sad resignation this week on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” And sometimes that can be harder to watch. The episode starts with a montage of different housewives talking to their husbands about the explosive, near-physical fight between sisters-in-law Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga last week. Melissa is upset with Teresa for calling her a gold digger; Teresa is upset that her brother Joe told his wife about the comment at all. “He broke our confidence and I’ll never tell him anything ever again,” Teresa says. “Zip zip zip.” Most interesting about this scene is the weighing in of the husbands, especially the less-than-present Albert Manzo, Caroline’s husband. “I have the luxury of …

Season 3 starts Monday night. Are you excited?
Perhaps there’s a reason to keep it in the family. This time, though, it's not Manzo-Laurita, but Gorga-Giudice. In a first, there will be additions, not subtractions, to the cast of Bravo’s ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ on Monday night. Yet the new cast members, Melissa Gorga and Kathy Wakile, are both related to the existing stars, either by blood or marriage. That’s also how most of the cast was associated during the first two seasons. That is, all but Danielle Staub, former scourge of the other ladies. Gorga, of Montville, is Teresa Giudice’s sister-in-law and Wakile, of Wayne, is her first cousin. Click here for tours of their palatial residences. They don't look too far off the mark from Teresa’s cash-only compound. Bravo has …

Want to know what Franklin Lakes's resident celebrities are up to? Here's our weekly round-up.
Sweet vindication came for Albert and Caroline Manzo this weekend. Last month, Al came under fire from the Christie administration for allegedly using a false address (his Paterson business) on his application for a seat on the North Jersey District Water Supply Commission. After a firestorm of international media, Al resigned stating he didn’t want to bring negative attention to the board. According to northjersey.com, “records just released by the Christie administration suggest that Manzo, a Paterson restaurateur and husband to a star of ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey,’ did have a legitimate residence at his eatery, The Brownstone,” Record reporter Jeff Pillets wrote. “In fact, Manzo fully declared his living arrangement to the …

And this weekend, we received confirmation that our hunch was right. According to the producers, the show will be called Dina's Party and each episode will feature a party thrown in someone's home, such as a graduation, surprise, wedding…
