Lions Club Carnival Roars into Town

Wyckoff-Franklin Lakes Lions Clubs hosting family fun event starting Wednesday night

The carnival is coming to town, and you can join in the fun starting Wednesday evening. Wyckoff and Franklin Lakes' Lions Clubs are hosting the fun-filled carnival at McBride Field on Wednesday, July 11, through Sunday, July 17. This carnival boasts rides for all ages, games of chance and yummy food. Last year’s carnival featured about 16 rides, 13 games of chance and food ranging from hot dogs to zeppoles, cotton candy and more. The rides ranged from kiddie rides targeting children in the 4 to 5 age range to bigger rides for teenagers and their friends. Hours for the carnival are 6 to 10:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 6 to 11 p.m. Friday, 3 to 11 p.m. Saturday, and 3 to 10:30 p.m. on Sunday. Have a question or news tip? Contact editor …

Oakland Carnival Comes to Town

Big fun kicks off Thursday

The annual Oakland Carnival is scheduled for June 14, 15 and 16 at the Oakland Recreational fields with rides, games, food and live music. "The carnival always has great rides and amusements for kids and teenagers, and this year the live music is a new feature to add to the festivities", said Sports Association of Oakland chairman Steve Wagoner.
