The Violations Bureau schedules court dates for summoned individuals who chooses to contest offenses such as a moving violation. The 25-member Wyckoff Police Department serves the township 24 hours a day, with a patrol division, traffic safetyMore division, detective division and a regional communications center, which provides dispatch services to both Wyckoff and Midland Park police departments, fire departments, ambulance corps and departments of public works.

The department also staffs 12 civilian dispatchers and a secretary.

Wyckoff Municipal Court

The township's municipal court, presided over by Judge Russel B. Teschon, hears the cases of those accused ofMore violating Wyckoff ordinances, and has jurisdiction over potential traffic violations, fish and game, weights and measures and disorderly persons offenses.

Indictable offenses are referred to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office, although they could be downgraded and sent to Wyckoff Municipal Court. 

Mark R. DiMaria serves as prosecutor, and Robert A. Fortunato serves as public defender.
