Weather Delays Pulis Avenue Paving

Look for roadwork on warmer days, borough announces.

Roadwork was scheduled to begin on Pulis Avenue during the first week of December, but the project has been delayed. The borough of Franklin Lakes recently posted the following announcement on its website:

The milling and paving of Pulis Avenue from Vichiconti Way in Franklin Lakes  to Chapel Road in Mahwah has been delayed by the weather.

Generally speaking, it must be dry and the temperature must be above freezing for paving work. The work will continue when weather permits, and will be conducted between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Detour routes will be clearly marked, and Franklin Lakes Police will be on hand to assist with traffic. It is recommended that motorists allow extra time and use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion and delays.
