Thanksgiving, Hanukkah Celebration Guide for Wyckoff and Franklin Lakes

All week long, residents will be celebrating Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Black Friday, and Small Business Saturday.

This week in Wyckoff and Franklin Lakes, locals will be celebrating two major holidays, with the first night of Hanukkah Wednesday and Thanksgiving Thursday. It also marks some of the biggest shopping days of the year – Black Friday and Small Business Saturday.

All week long, check Patch for your local guide to celebrating.

Menorah Lightings

The Franklin Lakes Borough Hall will host its first ever community menorah lighting, in conjunction with the Chabad Jewish Center of NW Bergen County. It’s happening Wednesday at 6 p.m. After the lighting, locals can stick around for lively entertainment and children’s Hanukkah crafts at the Ambulance Corps building.

Thankful Videos

In honor of Thanksgiving, Patch will be all around town this week finding people who want to share what they are thankful for. We’ll be compiling a video of thanks.

If you’ve got a cute video to share of you or your kids talking about what you’re thankful for, share it with your Patch neighbors! Email your video clip to Jessica.mazzola@patch.com and we will add it to our Thanksgiving video!
