Rock n Roll, Carnival Rides on Tap for Franklin Lakes Day

Two-day celebration is happening this week.

Residents in Franklin Lakes can look forward to a two-day celebration during the town fair this year.

Franklin Lakes Day kicks off with a “Rock n Roll the Night Away” band night Friday, and continues with the town-wide celebration with carnival rides, food, and vendors Saturday.

The 2013 Franklin Lakes Town Fair is almost here! Many local businesses, members of the Chamber of Commerce, School and Community organizations, Houses of Worship, crafters and food vendors are participating in this year's celebration.

The fair will be opening on Friday evening for residents to Rock n' Roll the night away. The "School of Rock" Stage will have local bands playing, games of chance hosted by the Lions Club and carnival rides will be open from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The fair will continue on Saturday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM with carnival rides and food staying open until 8:00 PM

Shuttle Bus
A shuttle bus sponsored by "Stop-n-Shop" will be running from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday between Pulis Avenue Recreation Center, Franklin Avenue Middle School, VFW and the Town Fair on DeKorte Drive.
