Wyckoff Rec Sports Registration Starts This Weekend

Sports include T-ball, softball and baseball.

The township of Wyckoff released the following information Thursday.

The Wyckoff Recreation Department announces that its upcoming Spring Registration will be held on Saturday morning, February 8th from 9-11am in the Eisenhower School Cafeteria and Tuesday evening, February 11th from 7:30pm-9:00. There will be no 2nd Saturday registration so please register on one of the two dates.

Starting in 2013, all of our coaches are now required to have a background check completed by the vendor being utilized by the Township. Background checks are good for two years and anyone who hasn't had their background check completed yet, may do so at Eisenhower School during the Tuesday, February 11th registration between the hours of 7:30-9pm. The check takes 5 minutes to complete and we require that you bring a PHOTOCOPY of your Rutgers Safety Certification card and your driver's license to verify your information.

For those that wish to coach but don't have the Rutgers course completed yet, we are also offering a course in Wyckoff at the Wyckoff Library on Thursday, March 13th, from 6pm-9:30pm. This course is another requirement for all coaches and is good for life (only have to attend one time). Please email us at wyckoffrec@optonline.net to pre-register for the course.
