Ricky Krautman Kicking for Pro Indoor Football Squad

The Roc City Thunder will play its inaugural season this year with Ramapo and Syracuse alum at the kicker position.

Ricky Krautman, a Ramapo High School grad and Franklin Lakes native, was recently selected for the 30-man roster of the Roc City Thunder football team. 

The Thunder is a professional indoor football team based out of Rochester, N.Y.

The team's roster is expected to be narrowed down to 20 men by March 16. Krautman is the only kicker listed on the initial list.

Krautman holds four state kicking records and 6 records in Bergen County and was the third leading scorer for Syracuse University in 2005.

He trained his younger brother, Ross Krautman, who now also kicks for Syracuse University Football.

Ricky is a certified physical education teacher and a private kicking coach.
