Ramapo Senior Brunetti Heading to Cornell

The Wyckoff resident has been playing the past 2 years with New York Red Bulls Academy.

Vincent Brunetti, a Ramapo senior and Wyckoff resident, has committed to play soccer at Cornell University, according to sources.

Brunetti has been playing soccer since he could walk, according to his mother Cathy. He began his career with the Torpedoes Soccer Club, was a varsity starter for Ramapo High School as a freshman and sophomore, then chose to focus on developing with his club team, the prestigious New York Red Bulls Academy in his junior and senior years.

This past July, Brunetti's U15/16 Red Bull team won the United States Development Academy Championship in Houston — the USDA is the premier soccer league in the United States. In August, he gave his verbal commitment to play his college soccer at Cornell.

Brunetti has been admitted early decision and will play for the Big Red in the fall.
