Paddle Day Coming to Franklin Lakes Nature Preserve

The event this weekend will feature kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddle-boarding.

Before the fall officially hits Franklin Lakes, the borough is taking advantage of lingering summer weather with a special event scheduled for this weekend.

The Franklin Lakes’ Mayor’s Wellness Campaign and Ramsey Outdoor are hosting “Paddle Day at the Franklin Lakes Nature Preserve” this Sunday, September 15, the borough announced on its website.

The event, which is happening from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., is open to the public. Residents can stop by to kayak, canoe, or stand-up paddle-board. Ramsey Outdoor’s equipment and staff guidance will be available throughout the day.
