Franklin Lakes Jr. Football Nabs Super Bowl Championship
Team beat Kinnelon 37-0 in its championship game.

The Franklin Lakes War Eagles Junior football team won the Tri County Youth Football League Championship Super Bowl against the Kinnelon Colts with a crushing score of 37 to zero this past Sunday at Pulis Field in Franklin Lakes.
For the first time in the town’s history, all three Franklin Lakes teams made the championship games.

While the Franklin Lakes War Eagles Pee Wee and Senior teams put forth tremendous effort against Kinnelon and Pequannock, respectively, it was the Junior team, led by Coaches Peter Sacco and Christian Tirone that took home the championship for Franklin Lakes.
