Indian Hills Alum Grbelja Boosts Muhlenberg Volleyball

The freshman recorded 23 kills in 15 games over the 2012 season

Freshman Taylor Grbelja helped the Muhlenberg College volleyball team to a winning season in 2012.

Grbelja, a Franklin Lakes-native and former Indian Hills student, played in 15 of 28 matches as a hitter and recorded 23 kills, 51 digs and nine service aces. She had highs of eight kills and nine digs in a three-set sweep of Manhattanville and recorded five aces in a four-set win vs. NYU-Poly.

Grbelja was one of several freshmen to play key roles on a young Mule team that finished with a record of 17-11 after combining for only 15 wins the previous two seasons. The 17 wins were the most for Muhlenberg since 2008.
