The Wyckoff Education Foundation is gearing up for its annual "Spring Fling" fundraiser, and this year's event will likely help fund township schools' technology initiatives.

WEF announced this week that the dinner/dance, happening Friday, March 28, from 7–11 p.m. at Macaluso’s in Hawthorne, will have a “Swing Into Spring – Roaring 20’s Gala” theme.
and will highlight a Premiere Northern NJ Band and DJ.   In addition, the evening will include a Buffet dinner, Open bar, 50/50 Raffles, and exciting Live and Silent auction items.

The fundraiser is set to feature a band, a DJ,a buffet dinner, open bar, 50/50 raffles, and live and silent auctions.

“The support from this event is critical to developing important technological programs to educate and prepare our children for an evolving digital environment,” WEF President Kevin Amerio, said in the release.

“The past support from Wyckoff and the surrounding communities has been phenomenal. As we partner with Wyckoff School Administration on growing the 1:1 Technology Initiative, the Foundation is proud to supplement the great work in this area”

Each year, the Wyckoff Education Foundation hosts fundraisers each year and donates the money to the township elementary schools and middle school through grants.

Since its foundation in 1990, the non-profit has raised $1.5 million and has awarded the funds through grants to the Wyckoff Board of Education.

Tickets to the “Spring Fling” event are $95 per person and registrations or donations can be made online at www.wyckoff.org or by contacting Brian Benedik at 201-207-2378.
