Reader Photo: Voice of Democracy Award Presented to Ramapo-Indian Hills Students

At the Ramapo-Indian Hills Board of Education meeting on Feb. 11 , six students were awarded the Voice of Democracy Award Citation by the Veterans of Foreign Wars and its Ladies Auxiliary.  

This years essay question was, "Is the constitution still relevant?"  

The winners from Indian Hills were freshman Caitlyn Lubas, first place; junior Nick Maralle, second place, and senior Kaitlyn McWha, third place.

Also noteworthy is that Kaitlyn won third place last year as a junior and first place two years aga as a sophomore.  

The winners from Ramapo were junior Dacey Trotta, first place; junior Kristen Arnold, second place, and junior Matt Sabatini, third place.
