No Class Tuesday at Ramapo HS, but Generators En Route

Indian Hills High School would be open again on Tuesday, according to RIH Superintendent Lauren Schoen

Ramapo High School students would not be returning to classes on Tuesday, RIH School District Superintendet Lauren Schoen said Monday afternoon.

While the Franklin Lakes High School remained without power Monday, school officials said that "three large generators" were in transit to the Ramapo High School campus.

""Because we do not know their approximate delivery time, we will be keeping Ramapo High School closed again tomorrow – Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 in order to set them up for operation," Schoen told parents and guardians Monday.

Indian Hills High School, which was open on Monday, will remain open and in full session tomorrow on Tuesday, the superintendent confirmed.

Schoen said district officials would reach out to parents and guardians again Tuesday "as additional information about the generators at Ramapo High School and the schedule for the remainder of the week [becomes available.]"
