Residents Invited to 'Meet and Greet' Board of Ed Candidates

Annual Franklin Lakes event is happening next week.

Residents will get a preview of all four Franklin Lakes Board of Education candidates about a month before election day.

According to a constant contact sent to parents by the district, the Franklin Lakes PTAs will host a Candidates' Night Meet & Greet.

The event is happening next Thursday, Oct. 10, from 8:15 to 9:15 p.m. at Franklin Avenue Middle School.

The school released the following information: 

All BOE candidates have been invited to participate in the annual BOE Candidates' Night, hosted by the Franklin Lakes K-8 PTA Presidents. Participating candidates will take part in individual interviews that will be videotaped and posted on the School District's website and the local cable access channels.

Following the interviews, from 8:15 p.m. to approximately 9:15 p.m., the public is invited to a Meet & Greet with the candidates at the Franklin Avenue Middle School. All residents are welcome to attend.
