Ramapo Indian Hills Makes 'AP Honor Roll'

The College Board has recognized Ramapo Indian Hills as one of the top districts in the country in terms of increasing its Advanced Placement offerings while maintaining high scores on high school AP exams.

RIH was one of 477 districts across the country named to the College Board’s 2013 AP Honor Roll.

The schools on the list, 36 of which were from New Jersey, were “honored for increasing access to AP course work while simultaneously maintaining or increasing the percentage of students earning scores of 3 [out of 5] or higher on AP Exams,” according to a release from the College Board.

“Reaching these goals indicates that these districts are successfully identifying motivated, academically prepared students who are likely to benefit from rigorous AP course work.”

Ramapo Indian Hills district officials recently gave a presentation on test results that praised student achievement on AP exams, and laid out a plan for continuing to increase scores.
