The Ramapo-Indian Hills Board of Education will meet in the district conference room at Indian Hills High School at 8 p.m. Monday.
On the agenda is the appointment of a coordinator for the district’s 1:1 Initiative, a program to put laptops into the hands of students at each of the two regional high schools.
The district budgeted for the program, expected to cost just over $400,000, last April. School officials plan to implement the program by January, delaying the distribution until mid-school year as laptop policies are finalized and curriculum incorporating the new technology is prepared.
