Franklin Lakes students will be headed back to school Tuesday, officials announced late Monday.
"I am happy to inform you that power has been fully restored to all schools," Superintendent Frank Romano told parents and guardians in an email at 9 p.m. Monday night. "These include Franklin Avenue Middle School, Colonial Road School, High Mountain Road School, and Woodside Avenue School. All schools will have full day sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week. All bus routes will run as usual."
Romano also issued thanks to parents and guardians for their flexibility and cooperation "during these most challenging circumstances."
"I look forward to seeing everyone back at school tomorrow," he concluded.
Students have been out of school since Monday when Hurricane Sandy swept across the the northeast.
