Celeb Chef Builds 40-Foot Salad Bar at Wyckoff School

Event at Sicomac Elementary is part of the school's focus on promoting healthy lifestyles.

Students in Wyckoff learned the value of a healthy salad thanks to a celebrity chef and a 40-foot long salad bar.

Tuesday afternoon, Chef Angie Shaghaghi, star of the Food Network’s Chopped and a runner up on Rachael Ray’s reality show, Hey, Can You Cook?! built the giant salad bar for students at Sicomac Elementary Tuesday afternoon, according to a release about the event. While munching on healthy snacks from the bar, the students also had a dance party to popular songs.

The event was put together by the school and the Sicomac PTO, who are working to focus on promoting healthy lifestyles.
