34 Ramapo Students Inducted into World Language Honor Societies

Students need to receive all A's over four years of language study in order to be inducted.

Thirty-four Ramapo High School students were inducted into the schools’ three World Language National Honor Societies over the weekend, the school announced in a release Monday morning.

In order to be inducted, students must complete four years of the same language and receive only As in the class.

“The study of languages is a vital skill and source of lifelong fulfillment.  It is an essential tool here in the US for this generation to understand the importance of learning another language and sticking with it for the rest of their lives,” Ramapo’s World Language Supervisor Michele Hill Thomas said in the release.
