Roadwork on Cedar Hill Avenue, originally slated to take be completed within a day on Aug. 15, will continue again this week.
The Bergen County DPW project to resurface the road closed the street down for the better part of two days a couple weeks ago, and the township has been advised that the county will return to continue the work Wednesday.
Drivers should continue planning for extra traffic and travel time through the, and residents expecting garbage collection in the area should have cans curbside before 6 a.m.
The detour route remains the same. Northbound traffic will be directed right onto Wyckoff Avenue and left onto Newtorn Road, while southbound drivers will be directed straight onto Newtown, right onto Hillcrest Avenue, right onto Wyckoff and then left back to Cedar Hill.
