Okay Wyckoff council members -- here's a chance to redeem yourselves. Without rehashing the details of why you failed to prevent the construction of the community wrecking eyesore that is Boulder Run, let's see if you can stop this ridiculous CHCC project. I'm hopeful -- after, Ridgewood's council members responded to the overwhelming grassroots opposition to Valley Hospital's expansion plans by flat out rejecting the project, why can't Wyckoff? Let's set reasonable expectations for Wyckoff voters that conform to all the campaign promises made by virtually every elected official in this town: anything short of rejecting CHCC's ghastly project is an abject failure. Also, I would like every elected official to swear, under oath, that he or she does not have any conflict or connection to the Struyk family or CHCC's Vista project that could taint their vote. For starters, council members should swear that they (personally) or their employer will not lobby for CHCC, will not perform tree cutting services to clear land for Vista, etc.
