Polling Change for Franklin Lakes Voters

Voters in districts 4, 5 and 6 — who normally vote at the Presbyterian Church — are being relocated to the Franklin Lakes Ambulance Corps Building located at Bender Court.

Franklin Lakes Clerk Sally Bleeker informed borough residents Friday that one Election Day polling change would have to be made because of Hurricane Sandy:

Widespread power outages due to Hurricane Sandy have affected one of the Borough's Polling places located at the Presbyterian Church at 730 Franklin Lake Road.  Currently, the Presbyterian Church is without power.

Since we cannot be assured when power will be restored, the Borough Clerk's office has made the decision to relocate those in Voting Districts 4, 5 and 6 who normally vote at the Presbyterian Church to a more stable location. The new location will be at the Franklin Lakes Ambulance Corps Building located at Bender Court.  Those in Voting Districts 1, 2 and 3 are not affected and will continue to cast their vote at the Bender Court Firehouse also located at Bender Court.
