Letter to the Editor: Values, Dedication Define Rooney

Send your letters to joseph.gerace@patch.com

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing today to show my support and encourage the Wyckoff residents to support the efficient and committed efforts of Kevin Rooney and Haakon Jepsen on November 6, 2012 for Township Committee. I have come to know Kevin, very well, over the years and can truly say he has exceptional moral values, family values and a dedicated work ethic. Kevin is devoted to everything he does and also has a logical thought process when doing so.

Over the last three years he has put all his effort into making Wyckoff run better and more cost effective for the residents. Kevin is always there to volunteer his time for the community before doing something for himself. Last year as Mayor two big storms hit. Kevin was out in the middle of the storms doing whatever he could day in and day out, before doing anything at his own house.

Kevin and Haakon are both committed to keep Wyckoff the town that we all love and live in. I am proud of Wyckoff and believe Kevin and Haakon have the leadership and out of the box thinking to keep Wyckoff moving forward in the right direction for the residents. When casting your vote on November 6, 2012 please vote for Kevin Rooney and Haakon Jepsen.

Sincerely,

Cathy O’Mealia
Wyckoff

Here we go again - all about Rooney and NOTHING about Jepsen!!

Have you brushed up on Mt. Laurel yet, Linda C.?
Gary Rabinowitz October 24, 2012 at 02:36 PM
@ JR -- explain your nonsequitir about Mt Laurel. Linda C has brought up this fair point in her comments repeatedly, and I haven't seen a direct response to it yet. Said another way - who is more experienced & qualified: Jepsen or Avia? (this is not a personal attack on Jepsen, by all accounts a friendly guy) GXR

JR - give it up!! We talked about low income weeks ago! It was just lately in the paper that Alpine had to have low income in their town! My comment was about the letter to the editor regarding Rooney and Jepsen! I guess you can't comprehend the english language. I've said it before and I'll say it again, all the people who wrote about Rooney - VOTE FOR HIM. Do you understand that you don't have to vote for Jepsen just because his name is on Rooney's sign? I'll vote for Avia (which I hope the lovely people in Wyckoff will do too!). JR you should read more papers - and do you know Wyckoff gets two free papers?????

Oh - thanks Gary for the nice comments! As I said JR is a big talker but can't back up what he says!!
Ed October 24, 2012 at 10:15 PM
Gary R - it's quite understandable how JR missed the point of Linda C's comment; after all, Jepsen and Mt. Laurel sound so much alike that it's easy to become confused. The best way to explain JR's confusion can be found in F. Scott Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby" where he penned the famous line: "There is no confusion like the confusion of a simple mind." I find it hard to believe that this genius is allowed to vote

The best part? It has a roomy interior but is still small enough to be brought on a plane as a carry on. http://www.mbtshoesukshoes.com/ http://www.burchshoes.com/ http://www.tory-flats.com http://www.bagsforgirl.com/ http://www.borsegucci-italia.com http://www.gucciuk-bags.com http://www.gucci-outlethandbags.com/ http://www.gucci-forsale.com/ http://www.louboutin-shoescheap.com/ http://www.hermesbagssale-outlet.com/ http://www.christian-louboutinoutlets.com/ http://www.christian-louboutinoutlets.com/
