Letter to the Editor: Rooney, Jepsen 'Exactly What Wyckoff Needs'

Dear Editor Gerace:

I am writing to express my support for Kevin Rooney and Haakon Jepsen for Wyckoff Township Committee.

I have the pleasure of knowing Kevin Rooney and his family for a number of years. He is a tireless public servant who spends untold hours in and around town giving his time and expertise to everything from shade tree preservation to finance, to public safety.  He is an unsung hero who does more behind the scenes for Wyckoff than anyone I know.  He is a constant wellspring of ideas to make Wyckoff a better place than it already is.  On a personal note, I know Kevin to be a good and loyal friend, and a great family man to his wife Hayley and their four children.

Haakon Jepsen represents the next generation of public servant who is needed to help maintain the quality of life and atmosphere that makes Wyckoff the desirable town it is. His wife Nyla grew up in Wyckoff.  From the time they located here with their two daughters, Haakon has been involved in the community at St. Elizabeth's Church, Cornerstone, and the Board of Adjustment. He is energetic and articulates a refreshing desire to make Wyckoff a better place.

The team of Kevin Rooney and Haakon Jepsen are exactly what Wyckoff needs in the Township Committee, and I sincerely urge you to vote for them on November 6th.
