Letter to the Editor: Rooney is a Hard-working Leader

I am proud to support the Rooney-Jepsen Republican Team for Wyckoff Township Committee.

As a lifelong resident of Wyckoff, I have seen first hand the changes that have taken place over the years. While Wyckoff has grown from a sleepy farm town, it has grown with conservative leadership.

Wyckoff enjoys the best in schools for our children; we have some of the lowest property taxes in the area while still keeping our property values higher than surrounding areas. Since November 3, 2009, when I voted for Kevin Rooney and the promise of increased transparency, a dedicated platform focused on what has made Wyckoff such a special place to grow up, Kevin Rooney has kept his campaign promise on making it a reality.

Kevin’s hard work and proven leadership skills have been recognized time after time in Wyckoff, his care for our seniors has never wavered.

Over the past two years working with the Wyckoff Parks and Recreation Foundation public/private partnership he has worked to provide our children with turf fields at no cost to us, “the taxpayer.”

It is also very important to note Kevin has never taken a stipend, Kevin has never asked for any out of pocket reimbursements. Why? Because he loves Wyckoff and cares about all of us.

When Kevin Rooney is re-elected and Haakon Jepsen is elected on November 6th, I can assure you they are well prepared to lead Wyckoff’s future.

Please Vote Rooney–Jepsen on November 6th.

Jen Walker
