Committee Candidate Hits Wyckoff Streets
Eileen Avia took to Franklin Avenue Saturday to meet and greet potential voters
Committee Candidate Eileen Avia stood at the busy corner of Franklin and Everett avenues in downtown Wyckoff Saturday morning for a "Meet the Moms" handshaking opportunity.
The Wyckoff Public School teacher is running for one of the two committee seats available in this year's election.
She's vying for votes against incumbent committeeman and past-Mayor Kevin Rooney, as well as political newcomer Haakon Jepsen.
