Wyckoff Seeking CERT Volunteers

Training course starts next week.

Wyckoff is looking for residents who are looking for a way to give back. The township sent out a call Monday for residents to join the volunteer Community Emergency Response Team, or CERT. The CERT team works with the township Office of Emergency Management to help plan for and prevent emergencies, and to assist emergency responders.

A CERT training course at the County Police Fire EMS Academy in Mahwah starts next Tuesday, Jan. 14.

“This is an opportunity to serve your neighbors,” Wyckoff OEM said in a release about the class.
