Wyckoff Poll Worker's Car Stolen on Election Day, Cops Say

Car was parked outside a Wyckoff polling location while woman was working inside, police say.

The Wyckoff Police are looking for a car that they say was stolen from a township resident while she was working as a poll worker on Primary Day Tuesday, Chief Benjamin Fox announced in a release Thursday.

According to Fox, the woman was working at the Cedar Hill Christian Church polling location on Election Day Tuesday, and had her 1999 Lincoln Town Car parked outside the church.

The car was reported stolen from the parking lot sometime in the morning hours while the woman was working inside, Fox said.

Though the woman told police she may have left the car unlocked, Fox said she did not leave the keys inside the car. She had them in her possession, he said.

Cops are investigating the incident, he said.
