Former Doctor Faces More Charges

Police had arrested Lisa Cannon last week on charges of burglary, theft, possession of stolen property and practicing medicine without a license.

A former doctor has been charged with with stealing a $1,000 bicycle from a township garage, a week after police her, authorities said Wednesday.

Lisa Cannon was charged with burglary and theft in connection with the stolen bike, Chief Benjamin Fox said. She was charged last week with four counts of burglary, four counts of theft, two counts of possession of stolen property and one count of practicing medicine without a license..

Police allege Cannon used a flashlight, screwdriver, hammer and rubber gloves during "nighttime burglary sprees."

Cannon, a former doctor, was put on inactive status in June. She is currently being held in Bergen County Jail under $50,000 bail.
