Wyckoff Avenue Re-opening Ahead of Schedule, Township Says

Track work at the Wyckoff Avenue railroad crossing near Main Street would be completed early despite several days of inclement weather, officials said

Wyckoff commuters, many of whom have been slowed all week by traffic in the township's commercial center, may get some relief this evening.

The township sent out an eblast Thursday afternoon saying track work at the Wyckoff Avenue railroad crossing near Main Street would likely be completed early despite several days of inclement weather over the past several days.

Committeeman Kevin Rooney confirmed that the railroad company had told the township said the heavily trafficked crossing should be operational by approximately 9 p.m.
