Frederick J. Meyer, 21, is facing charges of aggravated sexual assault and distribution of child pornography, authorities said Friday.

A Wisconsin man has been arrested for allegedly compelling a nine-year-old Wyckoff girl to masturbate on camera for him and distribute illicit photos online, Bergen County authorities said Friday.

University of Wisconsin student Frederick J. Meyer Jr., 21, of Cascade, Wisconsin, faces charges of aggravated sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a minor, and endangering the welfare of a minor by manufacturing child pornography, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. According to the prosecutor, Meyer exchanged messages with a nine-year-old girl he'd met on an online gaming site and allegedly instructed the victim to masturbate at his direction, take pictures of herself and distribute them through texts as well as online.
