Waldwick Man, 57, Advertised Himself As Prostitute, Police Charge

Placed ads online seeking money for sex, authorities allege

An unemployed Waldwick man who advertised himself as a prostitute on the Internet was arrested after meeting with an undercover detective he thought was a client, authorities said Monday.

Lawrence Duffy, Jr., who is 57 and divorced, was arrested at his home after officials charged him with engaging in prostitution, Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli said in a release.

Duffy was also charged with resisting arrest, and was released on his own recognizance.
