Video Highlights 90 Years of Franklin Lakes FD
Video gives a glimpse into the volunteer department.
The Franklin Lakes Fire Department has released an eight-minute video that members say they hope will give residents some insight into what they do, and inspire some to volunteer.
The video above ends with the message "We are your neighbors. We are volunteers."
The FD also encouraged residents to follow them on Facebook.
"There are 10,000 residents living in the borough and we also need to reach as many neighbors as possible. Social media is the most convenient way to communicate with you," the FD said in a post.
Residents interested in joining can find out more information or join by going to the Bender Court Fire House Monday nights at 7:30 p.m.
